Richard is a consultant with over 17 years experience. The majority of Richard’s career was spent at Interbrand where he was a Board Director providing strategic advice for many of the consultancies highest profile clients. Prior to setting up The Clearing, Richard was part of the senior team at Dave where he spent three years.
Richard has created many brand and marketing strategies and his client includes Cable&Wireless, Barclays, General Motors / Opel, Orange, British Red Cross, Five, The National Lottery, T-Mobile, Edinburgh City Council and Rolls-Royce.

Jonathan is a Creative Director with over 20 years experience. Prior to setting up The Clearing he was at Interbrand where he was the Executive Creative Director and a board member. During his time at Interbrand he led a number of the consultancies largest projects, including identities for Waterstone’s, Barclays, Barclaycard, The British Library and The British Museum, Rio Tinto, Cable and Wireless, Platinum Guild, Orient Express, Post Office, Standard Life, AstraZeneca, Waitrose, Budgens and Baboo the Swiss airline. He won Design Week Benchmark awards for his work on Barclays and Barclaycard.

After graduating from college Andy joined The Partners design consultancy before moving to Wolff Olins in 1998.
Andy joined Interbrand in 2003 and was quickly promoted to Executive Creative Director where he led the creative development for major clients, including British Airways, Thomson Reuters, Epson, Intercontinental, McLaren, Orange, Xerox, Musgrave. Over the years Andy has won many awards for design, including D&AD and Design Effectiveness.
Andy set-up The Clearing in 2010 where he now works as Creative Director.

After graduating from Cambridge University Pete worked in advertising as a planner at Lowe’s – before realising that words and branding were what interested him most.
Prior to setting up The Clearing Pete was Head of Verbal Identity at Interbrand, pioneering this discipline within branding and responsible for setting the standards for tone of voice, messaging and naming.
Whilst at Interbrand Pete led high profile projects within almost every sector, advising clients across the world on their use of language. His clients included Barclays, AstraZeneca, Nissan, The National Lottery, Orient-Express, Kraft, Musgrave, Intel, Fox Kids and Baboo (a revolutionary boutique airline). He was also responsible for the award-winning work for Barclays’ Canary Wharf communication campaigns.
